Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, based on preference)

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)

1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh parsley. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Open the package of crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.

Fill the Crescents: Place a generous tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle about a teaspoon of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the filling.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, roll each crescent triangle tightly towards the point. Place them seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

Cool and Serve: Once out of the oven, allow them to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy while warm!
