Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg (for egg wash)

Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the crescent roll dough on a clean surface, separating it into the pre-cut triangles.

In a bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder together until well combined.

Take a generous tablespoon of the cheese and pepperoni mixture and place it at the wider end of each crescent dough triangle.

Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the crescent dough towards the point to form a crescent shape, ensuring the filling stays inside.

Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it onto the tops of the croissant rolls to give them a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and puffed.

Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
