Ingredients

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In a medium bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Dip each chicken thigh in buttermilk, allowing any excess to drip off, then dredge in the seasoned flour mixture until fully coated. Shake off any extra flour and set aside.

Fry the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil (about 1/4 inch deep). Once the oil is hot, add the coated chicken thighs in batches, careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low. Add the butter, honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until the butter is melted and the sauce is well combined. Allow it to simmer gently for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine and Serve: Return the fried chicken to the skillet, turning to coat evenly in the honey butter sauce. Cook for an additional minute, just to heat through.

Garnish and Enjoy: Transfer the chicken to a serving platter, drizzle any remaining honey butter sauce over the top, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
