1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for sprinkling)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Prep Chicken: Ensure the chicken breast pieces are roughly the same size for even cooking. Pat them dry with a paper towel and season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

    Heat Butter: In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium-high heat until it begins to foam.

      Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the pan, stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

        Cook Chicken: Add the seasoned chicken bites to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes without stirring, allowing them to develop a nice golden brown crust. Flip the pieces and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they are cooked through, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

          Add Flavor: Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the chopped parsley, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the chicken. Toss everything together to coat the chicken in the garlic butter sauce.
