Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian-style)

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Salt, to taste

Hamburger buns

Lettuce, tomato, and any desired toppings for serving

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, black pepper, onion powder, paprika, salt, and chopped parsley (if using).

Mix all the ingredients gently until well combined. Make sure not to overmix, as that can make the burgers tough.

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, about 4-5 ounces each. You should get 4-5 patties.

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Lightly oil the grill grates or skillet to prevent sticking.

Cook the chicken patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and are nicely browned.

During the last minute of cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster, until golden brown.

Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
