Ingredients

500g beef flank steak, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ginger powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 onion, sliced

2-3 dried red chilies (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the beef slices, soy sauce, cornstarch, all-purpose flour, baking soda, garlic powder, ginger powder, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour.

Prepare the Vegetables: While the beef is marinating, slice the bell peppers and onion. Set aside.

Heat Oil: In a deep pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Beef: Carefully add the marinated beef in small batches to the hot oil, frying until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes). Remove and drain on paper towels.

Stir-fry the Vegetables: In the same pan, quickly stir-fry the sliced onions and bell peppers along with the dried red chilies for about 2-3 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

Combine and Sauce: Lower the heat, return the crispy beef to the pan, then add the sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Toss everything to coat the beef and vegetables evenly in the sauce.

Finish Up: Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Garnish: Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
