Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Optional: 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes for extra heat

Instructions

Prep the Steak: In a bowl, toss the sirloin steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well coated. Let sit for about 15 minutes at room temperature to absorb the flavors.

Heat the Pan: Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt and get hot.

Sear the Steak Bites: Carefully add the seasoned steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring there is space between them for proper searing. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side without moving them, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they reach your desired doneness (medium rare is recommended).

Make the Garlic Butter: Once the steak bites are cooked, reduce the heat to low and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter into the skillet along with the minced garlic. Stir gently, allowing the garlic to soften and become fragrant, about 1 minute.

Combine and Finish: Remove the skillet from the heat and add the chopped parsley and lemon juice, stirring everything to coat the steak bites in the garlic butter sauce. If desired, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes for added spice.

Serve: Transfer the Cajun garlic butter steak bites to a serving platter, garnishing with additional parsley if desired. Enjoy immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or sides!
