Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1/2 cup pimento cheese (store-bought or homemade)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

4 burger buns (toasted)

4 slices of crispy bacon (optional)

1 avocado, sliced

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Pickles (for garnish)

Olive oil (for grilling)

Your favorite condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.)

Instructions

Prepare the Patty Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat, then form it into 4 evenly sized patties.

Heat the Grill: Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the Patties: Place the patties on the hot grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until they're nicely seared, then flip. Cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a generous scoop of pimento cheese to melt.

Toast the Buns: While the patties are finishing, place the burger buns cut-side down on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer with lettuce, followed by the cheesy patty, crispy bacon (if using), sliced avocado, and tomato. Place any condiments you desire, and finish with the top half of the bun.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve the burgers hot, garnished with pickles on the side. Pair with your favorite fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
