Air Fryer Cherry Cream Cheese Croissants

Ingredients
  

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup cherry pie filling

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tbsp water

Instructions
 

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, cherry pie filling, and vanilla extract until well combined. Set it aside.

    Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

      Prepare the Crescent Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it. You should have 8 triangles.

        Fill the Croissants: Place a spoonful of the cream cheese and cherry mixture on the wider end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly from the wider end to the tip to form croissants. Pinch the edges to seal.

          Prepare Egg Wash: In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. This will be used to give the croissants a golden finish.

            Apply Egg Wash: Brush the egg wash over each croissant to enhance browning in the air fryer.

              Air Fry the Croissants: Gently place each croissant in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for air circulation. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed up.

                Cool and Dust: Once cooked, remove the croissants from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
